MEET OUR STAFF

pic Lead Pastor: Rev. Jim Trainer joined us as our Senior Pastor on June 21, 2009. Jim Trainer lived the first decade of his life an hour East of Willard (Alliance, OH) and the second decade within an hour West (Findlay & Millbury, OH). He is the son of a preacher man and the youngest of four children. Trainer met his wife, Wanda, the first day at Nyack College and they were married the day after graduation, four years later. They have one daughter, Caitlin JOY. His inductive preaching style, developed over 25 years, is clear and culturally relevant; usually with a dose of humor; always enthusiastic. picAssociate-Youth Pastor: Rev. Bart McKelvey is our Associate and Youth Pastor. Pastor Bart, otherwise known as "PB", grew up in our church with his family. He came back to his home church in 1995 to be our Associate-Youth Pastor. Click here to contact Pastor Bart.







pic Associate Pastor: Rev. Dan Miller joined our staff as an Associate Pastor. His specific responsibilities include music, small groups, and discipleship ministries. He grew up in Oak Harbor, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University. He served as a pastor for four years at Tacoma Alliance Church in Tacoma, Washington before coming to Willard. In addition to our staff that is on salary, we have many dedicated laypersons that spend countless hours devoting themselves to various committees and ministries.

We have the following committees and ministries that require many resources: Audio/Video, Worship, Missions, Alliance Men, Alliance Women, Christian Education, Children, and Youth.
